2008 - 10 - 15 Trainig Turnee in Sweden
In the project GIS effects on command and control they are starting to travel around in Sweden to perform training session on the emergency managend and security top organisations in typical Swedish permonels. The project will run the training (research) sessions in 20 permonels during six month.

The project Extended Reality uses the C3Fire environment as a simulation engine in their research. The project is performed by the Human-Centered Systems group at the Department of Computer and Information Science at Linköping University, Sweden. A new major C3Fire version develeped to support research at Department of Psychology, Laval University, Canada. The new features are.
Save, and Load - Make it possible to save a session during play and replay. The load command start the session from the save point.

A new major C3Fire version develeped to support education at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, USA The new features are a sett of configuration settings that make it possible to create traning session that suppords the training at NPS.

2007 - 01 - 29 University of Birmingham, UK

Dr Robert J. Houghton at School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering uses C3Fire. Among other he looks at possibilities to combine C3Fire with WESTT, a tool for analysis of multi-agent systems developed at University of Birmingham.

C3Fire is used as a project environment in team performance classes.




2005

2005 - 12 - 01 ALFA-05 role-playing exercise
A real-time role-playing exercise was performed succesfully.
In this game the players acted in roles matching their profession. In the exercise players participated as, Emergency operators, municipal fire & rescue commanders and officer, county police commander and officer, county medical team leader and county emergency officer.
The communication module of C3Fire was used to support the computer-mediated communication, in a network comprised by twenty computers.
